Speaker configuration and speaker pattern settings

This unit allows you to connect up to a 7.1-channel system. The table below shows examples of speaker configurations and speaker pattern settings.

* You can only set [Surround Back Speaker Assign] if the speaker pattern is set to a setting that does not have surround back and height speakers.

Hint

  • This unit allows you to connect Sony wireless rear speakers and a Sony subwoofer.
  • When your Sony TV has the S-CENTER SPEAKER IN jack, you can output the center part of the unit sound from the TV speaker.
  • By setting [SpeakerRelocation / PhantomSurroundBack] to [Type A] or [Type B] in the [Audio Settings] menu, you can enjoy a surround effect equivalent to up to 7.1.2 channels in terms of hearing. When you set [SpeakerRelocation / PhantomSurroundBack], perform Auto Calibration in advance.
