Transferring content using the Xperia Transfer 2 app (from Android/iOS)

You can transfer data, such as music, photos, videos, contacts, device settings, schedules, call history, SMS/MMS, and more using the Xperia Transfer 2 app.

You can transfer content by connecting your device (transfer destination device) to another device (transfer source device) with a USB cable. To transfer content from an iOS device, use a USB OTG adapter together with the USB cable. You can also connect devices using a Wi-Fi connection.

  1. On your device (transfer destination device), open the Xperia Transfer 2 app.
    To transfer content from an Android OS device, download and open the Xperia Transfer 2 app on the other device (transfer source device).
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect and transfer content.
