Pairing with the Sony TV

To listen to TV sound on the speaker system, your TV must be compatible with the A2DP profile of BLUETOOTH. For details, refer to the operating instructions of the TV.

  1. Check that the speaker system is in pairing mode.

    During pairing mode, the (BLUETOOTH) indicator on the front speaker flashes twice repeatedly.

  2. On the TV, search for the speaker system by performing the pairing operation.

    The list of the BLUETOOTH devices that are detected by the TV appears on the TV screen.

    For the operation method to pair the BLUETOOTH device on the TV, refer to the operating instructions of the TV.

  3. Select “HT-AX7” from the list of BLUETOOTH devices displayed on the TV screen, and register the speaker system and TV mutually.
  4. Confirm on the remote control screen of the app that the speaker system and the TV are connected via the BLUETOOTH function.

    When the BLUETOOTH connection is established, you hear a beep sound from the speaker system and the activity of the (BLUETOOTH) indicator on the front speaker changes from flashing to lit.

    If you cannot establish a connection, start from “Preparation: Setting the Speaker System to Pairing Mode” again.

  • The above operation is an example. For details, refer to the operating instructions of your TV.
  • Depending on the TV, the TV sound is not output from the TV when the speaker system and TV are connected via the BLUETOOTH function. To output the TV sound from the TV, turn off the speaker system or disconnect the BLUETOOTH connection between the speaker system and TV by selecting “HT-AX7” from the BLUETOOTH settings of the TV.

  • You can connect the speaker system concurrently with up to 2 BLUETOOTH devices. (Multipoint connection)
