AI Camera Assistant (Photo)
Adjustments recommended based on scenes identified by the AI are displayed in the mini previews. You can apply all of the adjustments at once by tapping one of the mini previews.
Make sure that the following settings are configured.

(Look) > [Off] -
The main camera is used.
If you are using the front camera, tap the icon to switch to the main camera.
(Switch between main and front cameras) -
(Settings) > [Menu] > [AI Camera Assistant]Then, tap the following switch to enable the function.

- Launch the Camera app.
(Camera) -
Select the mode.
[Photo] -
Point the camera at the subject.
- If the camera identifies a scene, mini previews will appear.

Tap one of the mini previews in the bottom right (in the portrait orientation) or top right (in the landscape orientation) of the viewfinder.

Swipe the mini previews left and right (in the portrait orientation) or up and down (in the landscape orientation) to find the preview with the desired adjustments. You can select from among four mini previews.

A check mark is added to the selected mini preview. Additionally, the adjustments of the selected mini preview will be applied to the viewfinder.

If you do not want to apply the recommended adjustments, tap one of the following icons.

(Back)

If one of the angle buttons is lit, tap the button to switch angles of view.

If there is a recommended angle of view, the corresponding angle button will light up.

- Tap the screen shutter button or press the device shutter button.
To adjust the brightness, warmth, tint, contrast, and saturation
You can further adjust recommended adjustments selected from the mini previews to your desired brightness, warmth, tint, contrast, and saturation.

Find and tap the following icon in the bottom left (in the portrait orientation) or in the bottom right (in the landscape orientation) of the viewfinder to display the Brightness/Color adjustments screen.

Drag each slider to adjust the settings to your preference.

Tap the photo icon in the bottom left of the Brightness/Color adjustments screen and select the look you want to apply to the recommended adjustments from the following list.

Tap the following in the upper right of the Brightness/Color adjustments screen to register the current adjusted settings as a custom look.

If you want to use the registered custom look, find and tap as follows.
(Look) > [Custom]If recommended adjustments are applied to the viewfinder, the following icons will not be displayed.
(Look)If you want to choose a look rather than recommended adjustments, tap the following icons.
(Revert) >
(Look) -
Tap the following in the bottom right of the Brightness/Color adjustments screen to reset the setting values to the recommended adjustments.

Tap the following icon in the upper left of the Brightness/Color adjustments screen to return to the viewfinder.

You can take photos with the adjusted settings.

If you tap a mini preview that uses the Bokeh effect and apply the recommended adjustments to the viewfinder, the angle button with a zoom ratio of 0.7× will not be displayed.

If you record a video by touching and holding the screen shutter button in the Photo mode, the following settings adjusted on the Brightness/Color adjustments screen will not be applied.
[Contrast]/[Saturation]/[Bokeh]

Only one custom look can be registered. If you try to register a new custom look, the existing look will be overwritten.
- Depending on the scene recognition results, the mini previews may not be displayed.

If you do not want to use the AI Camera Assistant feature and want to prevent the mini previews from being displayed, find and tap as follows.
(Settings) > [Menu] > [AI Camera Assistant]Then, tap the switch to disable the function.

The applied recommended adjustments and registered customized settings will be memorized by the camera. The memorized adjustments and settings will be displayed as recommended adjustments in the mini previews for the next shot of a similar scene.

You can hide the mini previews by tapping the following icon in the bottom right.
(Hide mini previews)To show the mini previews again, tap the following icon.
(Display mini previews)If there are new recommended adjustments while the mini previews are hidden, the following icon will light up.

Tap the following to display the Brightness/Color adjustments screen, and you can readjust the settings.
