Using the “Sound Connect” app

Download the “Sound Connect” app from the Google Play™ store or the App Store and install the app on your smartphone.

The functions that you can perform and make settings with the “Sound Connect” app are described below.

Speaker controls and status display

You can view the remaining power of the speaker’s built-in rechargeable battery.

Sound Effect

You can enjoy audio output by changing the Sound Effect on the speaker.

Sound Field Optimization

The speaker detects its surrounding environment and automatically adjusts the sound to the optimal level.

Note

  • In some cases, the surrounding environment may prevent the sound from being optimized.

Function

You can change the input source of the speaker. When you select USB-A, you can select a file to play through [USB Library].

Bluetooth Connection Quality

You can specify whether to prioritize sound quality or connection stability for BLUETOOTH connections.

  • [Prioritize Sound Quality]: Select this option to prioritize sound quality.

  • [Prioritize Stable Connection]: Select this option when connections are unstable. For example, select the option when sound interruptions frequently occur.

Note

  • The playback time may shorten depending on the sound quality and the conditions under which you are using the speaker.

  • Depending on the ambient conditions in the area where you are using the speaker, intermittent sound may still occur even if [Prioritize Stable Connection] is selected.

Bluetooth Standby

When you operate a BLUETOOTH device, the speaker automatically turns on and starts establishing a BLUETOOTH connection.

ULT button settings

You can select the sound mode to switch to when you press the ULT button on the speaker.

Party Now

You can apply one of the sound effects in time to music playing during a party. You can change the lighting color and the flashing speed as well.

In addition, you can enjoy a variety of karaoke features that include the scoring function and sound effects.

Battery Care

When this function is activated, the battery life last longer.

Auto Standby

When the speaker remains unused for 15 minutes or longer, the speaker automatically turns off. Deactivating this function will increase power consumption.

STAMINA

You can change the settings for the Sound Effect and the Lighting Mode to reduce power consumption.

Lighting Mode

You can change the lighting mode and the lighting color to suit your mood or the scene.

Notification & Voice Guide

You can enable or disable the notification sound and voice guidance features. You can specify the volume of the voice guidance as well.

Software version

You can view the version of the speaker software.

Update Software

You can specify how to update the speaker software.
