Accessibility settings

Android provides many accessibility features.

  1. Find and tap as follows to find the accessibility features.

    [Settings] > [Accessibility]

This topic introduces the following features.

  • [Audio adjustment] ([Mono audio], [Audio balance])
  • [Accessibility shortcuts]

Audio adjustment

You can adjust the audio to mono audio or adjust the left or right audio balance.

To adjust the Audio settings, find and tap as follows.

[Settings] > [Accessibility] > [Audio adjustment]

To enable Mono audio, tap the following switch.

[Mono audio]

To adjust the audio balance, drag the slider to the desired setting.

Accessibility shortcuts

You can launch accessibility shortcuts from the lock screen by pressing both sides of the volume button.

Assign your desired accessibility settings to the volume button and turn on the following.

[Shortcut from lock screen]

To allow accessibility setting shortcuts to turn on from the lock screen, find and tap as follows.

[Settings] > [Accessibility] > [Accessibility shortcuts]

Then, tap the following switch.

[Shortcut from lock screen]

To turn on the shortcuts from the lock screen, hold down both sides of the volume button for a few seconds.
