Importing root certification to the camera (Import Root Certificate)
Imports a root certificate needed to verify a server from a memory card.
The root certificate is used when executing encrypted communication for connecting to the cloud, etc.
The root certificate is saved to the camera and can be updated.
This function can be used when the camera’s system software (firmware) is Ver.2.00 or later.

Save a root certificate to a memory card.
- Save the certificate to the root directory of the memory card with the file name “sonycert.”

Insert the memory card to which the root certificate has been saved into the camera.

MENU → (Network) → [Network Option] → [Import Root Certificate] → Select [Cloud Connection and other functions], and then select [OK].
- The root certificate saved to the memory card is read by the camera, and then the root certificate on the camera is updated.

- Reads a root certificate to verify the server for the cloud connection or other functions.
Note
- Do not remove the memory card from the camera during read operations.
- When the network settings are reset, the root certificate on the camera is reset as well.
