Setting the sound quality

You can easily customize the sound quality of the speaker by using your smartphone, iPhone, etc. with SongPal installed.

The specification and design of the application may change without notice.

  1. Tap [SongPal] on your smartphone, iPhone, etc. to start up the application.

  2. Tap [h.ear go (SRS-HG1)].

  3. Tap [Settings].

  4. Tap [Sound].
  5. Select the desired setting and set the sound quality.

    You can set the following sound settings.

    • ClearAudio+
      You can enjoy ClearAudio+ mode (Sony-recommended sound quality). ClearAudio+ mode is set as the default.
    • Equalizer
      You can set the sound quality according to the music genre.
    • DSEE HX
      This function enables enhancement* of the sound quality for compressed audio files and restores high-range sound removed during the compression process. [Auto] is set as the default setting so you can enjoy both compressed audio files and high-resolution audio files.

      *Enhancement up to 192 kHz/24 bit.
