About software update and version checking
Whenever the latest software version is available online, the software of your speaker is updated as described below. No user operations are required to update the software.
How to check on the version
You can check on the software version of the speaker with “Sony | Music Center.”
On the screen of “Sony | Music Center,” select your speaker's name, and then tap [Settings] - [System] - [[SRS-RA5000] Version].

You can check on the software version of the speaker with “Google Home” as well. Select your speaker's name, open the settings screen, and then check on the software version.
Preparation for update
Software updates become possible when the speaker is in the following states.

The speaker is connected to the Internet via a Wi-Fi network.

The speaker is connected to the outlet with the supplied AC adapter.
About automatic software update
Automatic software update is performed while you are not using the speaker, such as during midnight or while the speaker's BLUETOOTH/Network Standby function is turned on.
