Dual Gain Shooting
You can shoot movies with smooth gradations by taking advantage of the gradation performance of the image sensor.

(Exposure/Color) → [Exposure] → [Dual Gain Shooting] → desired setting.

- On:
- Performs dual gain shooting.
- Off:
- Does not perform dual gain shooting.
Note

[Dual Gain Shooting] is locked to [Off] in the following situations.
- Normal movie recording: The shooting mode is [Intelligent Auto], [
File Format] is set to a value other than 4K, or [Rec Frame Rate] is set to 60p/50p or higher. - Slow-motion/quick-motion recording: The shooting mode is [Intelligent Auto], or [
Frame Rate] is set to 60fps/50fps or higher.
- Normal movie recording: The shooting mode is [Intelligent Auto], [
- When [Dual Gain Shooting] is set to [On], the range of ISO sensitivity and shutter speed that can be set changes.
- When switching between the following modes, the previous image may remain on the monitor temporarily, but this will not affect the movie being recorded.
- The setting for [Dual Gain Shooting] is switched between [On] and [Off].
- The shooting mode is switched between the still image shooting mode and the movie recording mode while [Dual Gain Shooting] is set to [On].
- [Dual Gain Shooting] increases the power consumption, which may affect the continuous shooting time.
