Cannot use Apple CarPlay.
- If you cannot connect to Apple CarPlay wirelessly or cannot switch from BLUETOOTH to Apple CarPlay, delete the registration on both your iPhone and this unit, then perform pairing again.
- Delete “XAV-AX4000” or “XAV-AX4050” from the Apple CarPlay registered devices on your iPhone, then delete your iPhone registration from this unit.
To delete your iPhone registration, press HOME, touch [Settings], and select [Device Connection]. Then, touch(information) for your iPhone when it appears on the screen, select [Forget This Device], and then select [OK].
Perform pairing again and connect Apple CarPlay wirelessly.
- Delete “XAV-AX4000” or “XAV-AX4050” from the Apple CarPlay registered devices on your iPhone, then delete your iPhone registration from this unit.
- Change from a wireless connection to a USB connection.
- To change from a wireless connection to a USB connection, disconnect the wireless iPhone connection, and then connect your iPhone to the USB port.
To disconnect your iPhone, press HOME, touch [Settings], and select [Device Connection]. Then, touch(information) and select [Disconnect].
Or, set the Wi-Fi setting of your iPhone to [OFF].
- To change from a wireless connection to a USB connection, disconnect the wireless iPhone connection, and then connect your iPhone to the USB port.
