Setting a Camera to Network Client Mode

To shoot using a camera connected in network client mode, set the camera to network client mode as follows.

  1. Turn on the network client mode compatible camera.
  2. Open the settings menu on the camera.
  3. Configure network client mode.
    • Enter a host name that matches the “Common Name” or “Subject Alternative Name” of the SSL/TLS certificate configured for PWA-RXS in [CCM Address]. Do not enter an IP address.
    • Write the root certificate provided by the certificate authority that issued the SSL/TLS certificate to a “CCM_certification.pem” file to load.
  4. Turn on network client mode.
  5. Display the Settings screen of the connection manager, select the corresponding camera on the [Transmitter] tab, and change [Registration Status] to [registered].

  • For details about mounting and configuration, refer to the manual for the camera.
  • When connecting a PWA-RXS instance with a camera, be sure to use an SSL/TLS certificate obtained from a certificate authority on the PWA-RXS PC.
  • Synchronize the date and time on the camera with the PWA-RXS PC.
