Transferring Camera Clips

Clips on cameras connected in network client mode can be uploaded to PWA-RXS under connection manager control. Clips uploaded to PWA-RXS can be transferred (exported) as files to external systems (servers or storage). Perform the following procedure on the File Transfer screen.

  1. Select [File Transfer] in the global header to display the File Transfer screen.
  2. On the File Transfer screen, select a camera connected in network client mode in the transmitter area.
  3. Click the [Proxy] tab or the [High-Res] tab.
    A list of clips stored on the selected camera is displayed.
  4. Click the checkboxes for the clips to transfer.
  5. Click [Transfer].
    The selected clips are added to the transfer job list, and the clips are then transferred in sequence.
    You can check the transfer state by clicking the [Job List] tab to display the list of transfer jobs.

To preview a clip

Select a clip that you want to preview in the clip list, and click the playback icon. The preview screen appears.

To return to the clip list, click the (Back) button on the preview screen.

To transfer a clip while previewing the clip

Click the (Upload) button at the top right of the preview screen. To transfer only a portion of a clip, set an IN point and/or OUT point, and then click the (Upload) button.

Note

  • File transfers may stop momentarily if the camera is currently live streaming. The file transfer will resume when live streaming stops.
  • If the recording media format is FAT, files cannot be transferred using the [High-Res] tab.
  • The preview display may stop temporarily, depending on the network status and camera status.
