Controlling data usage
Helping reduce data usage

Find and tap as follows.
[Settings] > [Network & internet] > [Data Saver]
- Tap the switch to enable the function.
Setting a data usage warning or a mobile data limit
- Make sure that mobile data traffic is turned on.

Find and tap as follows, and then tap the name of the SIM that you want to set.
[Settings] > [Network & internet] > [SIMs]

Tap the following.
[Data warning & limit]
- Depending on whether you want to set a data warning or a data limit, proceed as follows.

To set a data usage warning, tap the following switch to enable the function.
[Set data warning]
Then, tap the following to change the warning level.
[Data warning]

To set a mobile data limit, tap the following switch to enable the function.
[Set data limit]
Then, tap the following setting to change the data usage limit.
[Data limit]

You can set the date when the usage cycle resets. Tap the following to set the reset date.
[Data warning & limit]: [Mobile data usage cycle]
Note
- Once your mobile data usage reaches the set limit, mobile data traffic on your device gets turned off automatically.
Checking your data usage

Find and tap as follows.
[Settings] > [Network & internet]
- Depending on whether you want to check mobile data usage or Wi-Fi data usage, proceed as follows.

To check mobile data usage, tap the following.
[SIMs]
Then, tap the name of the SIM that you want to check, and tap the following.
[App data usage]

To check Wi-Fi data usage, tap as follows.
[Internet] > [Non-carrier data usage]

Controlling the data usage of individual apps

Find and tap as follows.
[Settings] > [Apps]

Tap the app that you want to control, and then tap the following.
[Mobile data usage] or [Wi‑Fi data usage]
- Edit the options as desired.
Note
- The performance of individual apps may be affected if you change the related data usage settings.
