Sending and receiving data using Bluetooth technology
Use Bluetooth technology to share data with other Bluetooth-compatible devices such as phones or computers.
Make sure the Bluetooth function is turned on and your device is visible to other Bluetooth devices.
Sending data using Bluetooth technology
- Open the app that contains the data you want to send.

Touch and hold or open the data, and then tap the icon.
(Share) -
Select the following, and then tap the name of the receiving device.
[Bluetooth]
Turn on the Bluetooth function if prompted.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the operation.
Receiving data using Bluetooth technology
- On the transmitting device, send the data to your device.
- When you are notified of an incoming file to your device, swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the notification to accept the file transfer.

Tap the following to start the file transfer.

To view the progress of the transfer, swipe down from the top of the screen.
Hint
- To confirm received data, swipe down from the top of the screen, tap the received data notification, and then tap the data you want to view.
- Files you have received using the Bluetooth connection are saved in the Downloads folder of the Files app.
