Menu Operation: Expert Setting > Gamma Correction

It configures the response characteristics of gradation of the corrected image. You can select the desired gradation from 10 options.

  1. Press the MENU button.
  2. Select [Picture] - [Expert Setting] - [Gamma Correction] - the desired setting.

Settings

[1.8], [2.0], [2.1], [2.2], [2.4], [2.6]

Lower values lighten the image overall, while higher values darken the image.

[Gamma 7]

The dark area is enhanced to sharpen the image quality.

[Gamma 8]

An image quality lighter than [Gamma 7] is reproduced. Select this when you view an image in a slightly bright room.

[Gamma 9]

An image quality lighter than [Gamma 8] is reproduced.

[Gamma 10]

It sharpens the image quality. Select this when you watch TV programs, etc. in a slightly bright room.

[Off]

Gamma correction is turned off.

  • You can also set [Gamma Correction] with the GAMMA CORRECTION button on the remote control.
