Note on static electricity
- Static electricity accumulated in the body may cause mild tingling in your ears. To minimize the effect, wear clothes made from natural materials.
Note on wearing the headphones
- As you can wear the headphones tightly, there is a danger of injuring your eardrums, etc. if it is pushed hard or when the headphones are suddenly removed from the ears. Also, if you press the headphones against your ear, a sound may be generated from the diaphragm, but it is not a malfunction.
Others
On safety
- Do not drop, hit, or otherwise expose the processor or headphones to strong shock of any kind. This could damage the product.
- Do not disassemble or attempt to open any parts of the system.
- Do not put weight or pressure on the headphones as it may cause it to deform during long storage.
- Do not subject the headphones to excessive shock.
- Do not expose the system to water. The headphones are not waterproof.
Remember to follow the precautions below.
- Be careful not to drop the headphones into a sink or other container filled with water.
- Do not use the headphones in humid locations or bad weather, such as in the rain or snow.
- Do not get the headphones wet.
If you touch the headphones with wet hands, or put the headphones in a damp article of clothing, the headphones may get wet and this may cause a malfunction.
On placement
- Do not place the system in any of the following locations.
- Location exposed to direct sunlight, near a heater, or other extremely high-temperature location
- Dusty location
- On an unsteady or inclined surface
- Location exposed to large amounts of vibration
- Bathroom or other high-humidity location
- To reduce the risk of fire, do not cover the ventilation opening of the appliance with newspapers, tablecloths, curtains, etc.
- Do not expose the appliance to naked flame sources (for example, lighted candles).
- Do not place the system in a place exposed to humidity, dust, soot or steam, or in a car or place subject to direct sunlight.
Others
- If you experience discomfort after using the headphones, stop using the headphones immediately.
On the AC adaptor
- Be sure to use the supplied AC adaptor. Using AC adaptors with different plug polarity or other characteristics can cause product failure. Even AC adaptors having the same voltage and plug polarity can damage this product due to the current capacity or other factors.
- Even AC adaptors having the same voltage and plug polarity can damage the processor due to the current capacity or other factors. Use the supplied AC adaptor.
- Use a wall outlet that can be easily reached. If a failure occurs, unplug the AC adaptor from the socket. The processor's power is not completely cut off.
- Please note the following when using the AC adaptor:
- Do not install the apparatus in a confined space, such as a bookcase or built-in cabinet.
- To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose AC adaptor to dripping or splashing, and do not place objects filled with liquids, such as vases, on the AC adaptor.
- If you are not going to use the system for a long time, unplug the AC adaptor from the AC outlet (mains). When removing the plug, grip the AC adaptor. Do not pull on the cord.
Supplied AC power cord (May not be supplied in some countries or regions.)
- The supplied AC power cord is exclusively for the processor and cannot be used with other electric products.
