Menu Operation: Screen Fitting

Adjust the distortion of the projected image that occurs due to installation conditions or when a portion of the image spreads beyond the screen.

  1. Press the MENU key.
  2. Select [Installation] - [Screen Fitting] - The desired setting.

Settings

[Warping]

Adjust the image distortion.

Select an adjustment point and move it vertically/horizontally to adjust the image distortion.

[V Corner Wall]

Adjust the horizontal distortion of the projected image that occurs when projected on a wall, floor, corner, pillar, etc.

Select an adjustment point (upper left, middle left, lower left, upper right, middle right, lower right) you want to correct and move it vertically/horizontally to adjust the image distortion.

[H Corner Wall]

Adjust the vertical distortion of the projected image that occurs when projected on a wall, floor, corner, pillar, etc.

Select an adjustment point (upper left, upper middle, upper right, lower left, lower middle, lower right) you want to correct and move it vertically/horizontally to adjust the image distortion.

[V Keystone]

Adjust the projected image on a screen that has a vertical trapezoidal shape.

Increasing the value in the positive direction makes the upper side screen width smaller, and increasing it in the negative direction makes the lower side screen width smaller.

[H Keystone]

Adjust the projected image on a screen that has a horizontal trapezoidal shape.

Increasing the value in the positive direction makes the right side of the screen smaller, and increasing it in the negative direction makes the left side of the screen smaller.

[V Linearity]

Adjust the projected image so that the height of the upper half and lower half will be the same.

The higher the setting, the narrower the upper half of the projected image. The lower the setting, the narrower the lower half of the projected image.

[H Linearity]

Adjust the projected image so that the width of the right half and left half will be the same.

The higher the setting, the narrower the right half of the projected image. The lower the setting, the narrower the left half of the projected image.

[Reset]

Resets all of the Screen Fitting items.

Note

  • Because Warping/Corner Wall/Keystone/Linearity adjustment is an electronic form of correction, the image quality may deteriorate.
  • Depending on the position adjusted with the lens shift feature, the aspect ratio of the image may change from the original or the projected image may be distorted with Keystone adjustment.
  • [Warping], [V Corner Wall] and [H Corner Wall] cannot be adjusted at the same time.
