Recording auto-framed videos (Auto Framing)
- Launch the Camera app.
(Camera) -
Swipe the bottom of the screen and tap as follows to find the mode.
[More] > [Auto Framing] -
Point the camera at the subject.

Tap one of the angle buttons to switch angles of view.

Touch the subject on which you would like to focus in the viewfinder.

The focus frame will appear.
The camera will focus on the touched subject.
To cancel focusing, tap the focus frame.

The color adjustment slider and the brightness adjustment slider will appear.

: Brightness adjustment sliderDrag the sliders to adjust the color and brightness.

Tap the button to change the frame size.
(Frame size)To make the subject larger within the frame, move the slider to the left. To make the subject smaller within the frame, move the slider to the right.
To hide the slider, tap the button in the viewfinder.

Tap the following button on the screen or press the device shutter button to record a video.
(Start video recording)

Tap the following button on the screen or press the device shutter button to stop recording.

To view, share, or edit videos in the Google Photos app, tap the thumbnail. For more information about the Google Photos app, go to the following URL.
To change the camera settings

Tap the icon to find and change more frequently used settings.

Light
Off / On
The current light status is displayed in the top left of the screen. You can turn the light on or off by tapping the icon.

Frame orientation
Auto: The camera keeps the cropping orientation the same as the device orientation.
Vertical / Horizontal: The camera keeps the cropped frame in the vertical or horizontal orientation.

Tap the button to change more detailed settings.

Full screen recording
You can select whether or not to save an uncropped recording of the entire screen in addition to the cropped recording. Cropped recordings are saved with a resolution of Full HD. Uncropped recordings are saved in 4K.
On: Both cropped and uncropped recordings will be saved.
Off: Only the cropped recording will be saved.

HDR/SDR format
Enable HDR (High Dynamic Range) to make your videos appear more dramatic and closer to what you see in real life.
HDR(HLG/BT.2020): Video is recorded with a combination of HLG for the gamma curve and BT.2020 for the color space.
SDR(BT.709): Video is recorded with a combination of the standard gamma curve and BT.709 for the color space.

Mic
You can select which mic to use while recording videos.
All directions (stereo): This setting is ideal for capturing sound from all sides or directions, such as environmental sound.
Voice priority (rear): This setting is ideal for capturing voices or sound from the subject when recording with the main camera. Touch the rear panel as little as possible during recording to avoid noise being recorded.

Wind noise reduction
You can reduce the noise produced by wind hitting the microphone when recording without losing the original audio quality.

Hint
- If the frame size does not change when you move the frame size slider, get closer to the subject and try to change the frame size again.

You can select the finish of images. Tap the icon.
(Look)Each preset look is optimized with a different combination of color tone, saturation, contrast, sharpness, brightness, and other image elements, so you can set up image processing with your ideal balance of these elements. For details about each preset look, tap the button.
