Listening to TV audio through the neckband speaker

You can listen to TV audio via the neckband speaker connected to the supplied transmitter via a BLUETOOTH connection.

  1. Connect the transmitter and a TV, and then specify PCM as the digital audio output method on the TV.
  2. Establish a BLUETOOTH connection between the neckband speaker and the transmitter.

When a BLUETOOTH connection is established, you hear voice guidance (BLUETOOTH connected) from the neckband speaker and the indicator on the neckband speaker starts flashing slowly in blue (for about 30 seconds). The indicator on the transmitter stops flashing and stays lit in blue and you hear TV audio coming out both from the TV and the headphones.

If no audio comes out, press the (BLUETOOTH) button on the transmitter briefly once.

  3. Listen to TV audio.

Wear the neckband speaker around the base of your neck with the (fabric-covered) speaker components facing upward and adjust the volume with the -/+ (volume) buttons on the neckband speaker.

Be sure to wear the neckband speaker in a proper manner where you do not feel the vibrations of the neckband speaker on the sides of your neck.

Hint

  • Control over the volume of the neckband speaker is not available on the TV.

  • When the volume of the neckband speaker is maximized or minimized, you hear a notification sound.

Note

  • The (play/call) button on the neckband speaker does not work.

  • Watching a video on a non-BRAVIA XR™ TV while listening to its audio via headphones may cause unsynchronized video and audio.
