Turning the power on

  1. Slide the POWER・HOLD switch to [POWER] and hold it until the display window turns on.

    When your IC recorder has many files or folders stored, it takes some time for the display window to turn on.

Hint

  • After you turn on your IC recorder, it may take some time for the display window to turn on. It is recommended that you turn on the IC recorder in advance before you start recording. Approximate time periods required for the display window to turn on after you turn on the IC recorder depend on the number of files stored on the IC recorder as listed below for reference purposes.

    • 2,500 files: approximately 3 minutes

    • 5,000 files: approximately 6 minutes

    Depending on the file format of the stored files, it may take longer than the above for the display window to turn on.

  • When your IC recorder is leaved unused for a certain length of time, the Auto Power Off function will take effect and the IC recorder will automatically turn off. (By default, the Auto Power Off function is set to [10 Min].)

  • If the sleep timer is active, your IC recorder will turn off automatically in the specified period of time.

  • If you turn the power back on within 4 hours from your last power-off, the power will come on quickly.
