BASIC (Basic) mode overview

Photo mode

Images showing where each function is located on the Photo Pro standby screen in the BASIC (Basic) Photo mode. Upper area, 1 to 7. Right side of the device, 8 and 11. Lower area, 9 to 10 and 12 to 21.

  1. Scene recognition icon and conditions icon
    These icons appear when Photo Pro automatically recognizes a scene or condition.
  2. Select a capturing mode
  3. Google Lens
  4. Front camera lens
  5. Photo Pro settings menu
  6. Switch the shooting mode
  7. Geotagging status
  8. Use the volume key to zoom in or out
  9. Tap one of the angle buttons to switch lenses

    (Standard button) will be made available through a software update. Software rollouts are a phased process; the timing and availability vary by market and/or operator.

  10. Select an aspect ratio
  11. Use the camera key to launch Photo Pro or take photos
  12. Switch between the front and main camera
  13. Select a flash setting. The icon color changes when the flash or flashlight activates.
  14. Drive mode button
    Select a self-timer setting or a single shooting or continuous shooting mode.
  15. Use the shutter button to take photos
  16. Go back or exit Photo Pro
  17. Switch between taking photos and videos
  18. Tap the thumbnail to view, share, or edit photos
  19. Tap to adjust the Bokeh effect
  20. Tap to adjust color and brightness
  21. Tap to change the aperture value when  (Wide button) is selected.

Video mode

  2. Select a capturing mode
  3. Google Lens
  4. Front camera lens
  5. Photo Pro settings menu
  6. Switch the shooting mode
  7. Geotagging status

  10. Tap to activate the flashlight. The icon color changes when the flashlight is activated.
  11. Use the camera key to launch Photo Pro or record videos
  12. Switch between the front and main camera
  13. Tap to enable the [Face/Eye AF] function

    (Face/Eye AF button) will be made available through a software update. Software rollouts are a phased process; the timing and availability vary by market and/or operator.

  14. Use the shutter button to record videos
  15. Go back or exit Photo Pro
  16. Switch between taking photos and videos
  17. Tap the thumbnail to view, share, or edit videos
  18. Tap to enable HDR (High Dynamic Range)
  19. Tap to adjust color and brightness
  20. Tap to change the aperture value when  (Wide button) is selected.
