S&Q Mode Settings

When shooting slow-motion/quick-motion movies, you can select whether to shoot in the exposure mode for [S&Q Motion], or in the [Fixed/Variable] mode, which allows you to directly specify the shooting frame rate for slow-motion/quick-motion.

This function can be used when the camera’s system software (firmware) is Ver.7.00 or later.

  1. MENU(Shooting) → [Image Quality/Rec][Mode Settings] → desired setting.

S&Q Mode:

You can select an exposure mode from [Exposure Mode] and perform slow-motion/quick-motion shooting.

[Rec Frame Rate], [Frame Rate], and [Record Setting] are set in [S&Q Settings].

Fixed/Variable:

You can select a shooting frame rate from [FPS] and perform slow-motion/quick-motion shooting.

With this setting, the recording frame rate and recording settings are determined by the values set in [Movie Settings].

Note

  • When you select [Fixed/Variable], you cannot select [Exposure Mode] or [S&Q Settings].
