Limitations when Creating a File Request Code
Settings when creating a file request code
Always configure the following settings when creating a file request code using Ci.
If you enter a file request code created with settings different from those below into this app, an error will occur and you will not be able to sign in to Ci.
[Customize] tab
[ADVANCED SETTINGS] > [CONTRIBUTOR EMAIL]
Clear the check mark from [Require contributor's email].
[ADVANCED SETTINGS] > [UPLOAD SETTINGS]
To limit the type of files that can be uploaded, clear the check mark from [Allow folder uploads] and set [PERMITTED FILES] to one of the following settings.
- Select [All files].
- Select [Only some file types] and place a check mark in [Video] under [SELECT PERMITTED FILE TYPES].
- Select [Only some file extensions] and enter “mp4” and “mxf” in the [Enter file extensions] field.
[Request Metadata] tab
If a check mark is placed in [Include Network metadata model in contributor form], place a check mark in [Free text] only for the metadata type to use.
Note
- This app does not support any metadata types other than free text.
