About the LE Audio connection quality
The following 2 kinds of connection qualities for LE Audio can be selected on the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app when the headset is connected via a Bluetooth connection to a smartphone that supports LE Audio.
[Low latency]: Prioritizes minimizing the sound latency.
[High Reliability]: Prioritizes the stable connection (default).
- When you want to minimize the sound latency or use GMAP (Gaming Audio Profile), select [Low latency].
- If the connection is unstable, such as when producing only intermittent sound, select [High Reliability].

GMAP is one of the LE Audio profiles that provides ultra-low latency that is ideal for gaming.
When connected to LE Audio, if you launch a gaming app that supports GMAP, the profile will automatically switch.
To connect using GMAP, the smartphone needs to be compatible with GMAP. For details about compatibility, refer to the operating instructions supplied with your smartphone.

- Depending on the ambient conditions in the area where you are using the headset, intermittent sound may still occur even if [High Reliability] is selected.
- Depending on your smartphone, the Equalizer may not be available during games in the [Low latency] mode. Select the [High Reliability] mode to enjoy games while using the Equalizer.
