Using focus assist functions
This section explains functions that are useful when adjusting the focus in the AUTO/P/S/M mode.
Using the focus magnifier function
When the focus mode is set to [Manual Focus] in the P/S/M mode, you can magnify the image and adjust the focus.

In the manual focus mode, tap
(Focus magnifier icon) or double-tap the area you want to magnify. -
Drag the viewfinder to move the magnified area, and then drag the slider to adjust the focus.
You can also tap
(Focus near icon) or 
(Focus far icon) to make finer adjustments.
Using the peaking function
Peaking helps you to check the focus by enhancing the outlines of in-focus areas.

Tap [MENU] > [Focus].

Tap the [Peaking] switch to enable the function.

- You can select the peaking color. Tap [MENU] > [Focus] > [Peaking color] and select an option.
