Turning on the unit

Before connecting the AC power cord (mains lead), be sure to make connections with speakers and the other devices.

Note

  • Before connecting the AC power cord (mains lead), make sure that metallic wires of the speaker cables are not touching each other between the SPEAKERS terminals.
  1. Connect the supplied AC power cord (mains lead) to the AC IN terminal on the unit firmly.

    * Space remains between the plug and the rear panel even when the power cord (mains lead) is inserted firmly. The cord is supposed to be connected this way. This is not malfunction.

  2. Connect the AC power cord (mains lead) to a wall outlet.

    [HELLO] appears on the display panel and then switches to [PLEASEWAIT].

    You cannot turn on the unit until the [PLEASEWAIT] display disappears.

  3. Turn on the TV, and then switch the input of the TV to which the unit is connected.

  4. Press (power) to turn on the unit.

    You can also turn on the unit using (power) on the remote control.
