System Configuration Examples
This topic shows examples of system configurations that use C3 Portal.
Mobile app simple configuration
Scan a QR code to obtain camcorder access authentication credentials using the mobile app and register with C3 Portal (actions 1 to 5 by user A in the following diagram). Log in to the camcorder from the mobile app on another device using the registered access authentication credentials (actions 6 to 8 by user B in the following diagram).
Note
- Only camcorders that support QR code display can be registered using mobile app simple configuration.
Live streaming operation
This is a system configuration that receives streaming video using a PWS-110RX1A, where the connection is managed by the C3 Portal service.
Note
- For streaming, the camcorder must be set to network client mode (NCM).
- Do not use the streaming function when connected via the mobile app.
Streaming to multiple stations (multi point distribution)
This is a system configuration for streaming to multiple receiving stations. You can stream by specifying a station as the main station for streaming and other sub stations can then join the stream.
Note
- For streaming, the camcorder must be set to network client mode (NCM).
- Do not use the streaming function when connected via the mobile app.
Shooting plan operation
This is a system configuration that sends shooting plans received from a Newsroom Computer System (NRCS) or created by C3 Portal to a camcorder in the field.
Asset management
This is a system configuration for managing and sharing video clips uploaded from the mobile app installed on a smartphone or uploaded from a camcorder as assets.
High-speed file transfer
This is a system configuration for transferring video clips to C3 Portal at high speed using the mobile app installed on multiple smartphones.
Note
- An option license is required to use the high-speed transfer function.
Intercom operation
This is a system configuration in which operation of the internal intercom of the broadcast station and C3 Portal are used in conjunction when using a camcorder that has an intercom function.
Note
- For intercom operation, the camcorder must be set to network client mode (NCM).
- Intercom operation is not supported when connected via the mobile app.
