Starting SRT Streaming
Note
- To perform SRT streaming, an external device that transmits an SRT stream must be configured as an SRT caller.
Use the following procedure to start and stop SRT streaming from the [Live] screen.
Specify the SRT listener to use for SRT streaming, and enable streaming transmission.

Select the group in which the device for SRT streaming is registered in the [Group] area.

Select the [Listener] tab in the [Transmitter]/[Listener] area and select an SRT listener.

Specify the SRT listener information for the external device that transmits the SRT stream.Press the
(Menu) button and select [View details…] to display the [SRT Listener] dialog and check the SRT listener information.
Specify the values for the external device in the following format.
srt://<address>:<port_number>?passphrase=<passphrase> -
Set [Framerate] and [Latency] on the [Streaming] tab in the streaming information area.Select the same value as the SRT stream being transmitted in [Framerate].

Select the story to be assigned to the listener in [Story Selection] on the [Streaming] tab.When recording streaming video in the cloud, the story selected here will be assigned to the recorded file in the cloud.
Hint
- You can also store content in the cloud without assigning a story.
- To clear the story assignment, click [Clear].

Select the output SDI port group in [Main output]/[Suboutputs] on the [Streaming] tab
Note
- Only cloud receivers can be selected in [Main output]/[Suboutputs].

Click [Start] on the [Streaming] tab.The listener is ready to receive an SRT stream when the listener status becomes “Running.”
Note
- Reception is not possible when the listener status is “Starting.”
- You can also drag & drop an SRT listener from the [Transmitter]/[Listener] area onto a receiver in the [Receiver] area to start streaming.

Start transmitting an SRT stream from the external device.
To stop SRT streaming
Click [Stop] on the [Streaming] tab. Also, stop transmitting an SRT stream from the external device.
To reserve an SDI port for output SRT streaming
You can reserve an SDI output port used when SRT streaming starts in [Port reservation] on the [Streaming] tab.
When a port is reserved, that port is no longer available for selection in [Main output] for other streams.
