Configuring a Router Input
Configuration method
Select a row in the [Router Input] tab of the [System Settings] screen and configure each item in the [Streaming Settings] pane. When finished configuring items, press the [Apply] button to apply the settings.
Setup items
Set [Streaming Type] to the appropriate setting for the input source device. The setup items and the available selection options will vary depending on the [Streaming Type] setting.
Note
- Modifying the following items when an event is running will display a confirmation message and cause the event to stop.

When using SRT
Use this option when the video input source is SRT.
- [Display Name]: Enter an arbitrary name.
- [Streaming Type]: Select [SRT-Listener] or [SRT-Caller].
- [Video Format]: Select the video format from the list. The selection options will vary depending on the [System] tab setting. If you want to select an interlaced system, [SDR/8bit/BT.709] must be selected beforehand in [SDR/HDR] on the [System] tab.
- [Video Bitrate (kbps)]: Set the video bit rate in the range 3000 to 25000.
- [Buffer (msec)]: Set the buffer size in the range 0 to 10000.

[Audio Codec]: Displays the audio codec. Cannot be modified.
Hint
- “AAC/PCM” is displayed when the switcher is not receiving a signal.
- When receiving PCM, the maximum communication rate of 25 Mbps is used in addition to the [Video Bitrate (kbps)] value.
- [Audio Freq. (Hz)]: Displays the audio frequency. Cannot be modified.

[Connection Information]
- [Address/Host]: Displays the address and host. Cannot be modified. Set the same value for the input source.
- [Encrypted]: Enable/disable encryption. When disabled, [Passphrase] is not displayed.

[Passphrase]: Set the passphrase of 10 or more characters. Press
(Shown)/
(Hidden) to show/hide the setting.
Set the same value for the input source.
When using RTMP/RTMPS
Note
- If you want to use RTMP/RTMPS, [SDR/8bit/BT.709] must be selected beforehand in [SDR/HDR] on the [System] tab.
Use this option when the video input source is RTMP/RTMPS.
- [Display Name]: Enter an arbitrary name.
- [Streaming Type]: Select [RTMP-Push], [RTMP-Pull], [RTMPS-Push], or [RTMPS-Pull].
- [Video Format]: Select the video format from the list.
- [Video Bitrate (kbps)]: Set the video bit rate in the range 3000 to 25000.
- [Audio Codec]: Displays the audio codec. Cannot be modified.
- [Audio Freq. (Hz)]: Displays the audio frequency. Cannot be modified.

When using XDCAM pocket (AWS version only)
Note
- Modifying the setting when both a camera is not connected and the event status is “Running” when using XDCAM pocket will cause the event to be restarted automatically. If streaming output or recording when a camera is not connected, the setting cannot be changed.
- To use XDCAM pocket, [SDR/8bit/BT.709] must be selected beforehand in [SDR/HDR] on the [System] tab.
- On the PDT-FP1, use HDMI In FHD 50p or 59.94p.
Use this option when the video input source is XDCAM pocket.
- [Display Name]: Enter an arbitrary name.
- [Streaming Type]: Select [XDCAM pocket].
- [Video Format]: Select the video format from the list.
- [Video Bitrate (kbps)]: Set the video bit rate in the range 6000 to 20000.
- [Buffer (msec)]: Set the buffer size in the range 600 to 10000.
- [Audio Codec]: Displays the audio codec. Cannot be modified.
- [Audio Freq. (Hz)]: Displays the audio frequency. Cannot be modified.

[Connection Information]

[Device ID]: When you set the host name, user name, and password and then connect using XDCAM pocket, the device ID that uniquely identifies XDCAM pocket is automatically displayed after the connection is established.
If you want to change the input source, select a device ID from the pull-down list to switch devices.
To cancel the XDCAM pocket assignment, delete the entry so that it is blank.
[Device ID] can be modified only when the event is in the “Running” state.

To cancel an input source assignment
Select the row for the assignment you want to cancel on the [Router Input] tab of the [System Settings] screen, and delete the [Streaming Type] setting so that it is blank.
