Using the manual focus in the [Photo] or [Video] mode

You can adjust the focus manually using the slider in the viewfinder if you switch the focus mode to manual.

Switching the focus mode to manual

  1. While using the main camera in the [Photo] or [Video] mode, tap (Settings icon), and then tap the [Menu] button.

  2. Tap the [Focus] switch under [Manual control] to enable the function.

Adjusting the focus manually

  1. Touch the subject on which you would like to focus in the viewfinder.

  2. Tap [Focus] in the viewfinder to display the slider.

  3. Drag the slider to adjust the focus.

    • To make finer adjustments, tap (Focus near icon) or (Focus far icon).
    • To hide or show peaking, tap [Peak] on the right side of the slider.
    • To switch the focus mode to auto, tap the switch on the left side of the slider.
    • To hide the slider, tap (Close button) in the viewfinder.
