POWER LINK
This section describes [POWER LINK] in the receiver menu.
In [POWER LINK], you can set whether to link the power on/off of the receiver with that of devices connected to the receiver.
-
RX-TX
When set to [ON], the microphone turns on and off in sync with the power of the receiver. However, turning the microphone on or off does not turn the receiver on or off.
-
CAM-RX
When set to [ON], the receiver turns on and off in sync with the power of the camera connected to the receiver. However, turning the receiver on or off does not turn the camera on or off.
Note
-
When [RX-TX] is set to [ON], power consumption increases even when the receiver and microphone are turned off. When [CAM-RX] is set to [ON], power consumption increases even when the receiver is turned off.
Putting the receiver and microphone in the charging case automatically sets [POWER LINK] to [OFF] to reduce power consumption. When not using the receiver or microphone, it is recommended to keep them in the charging case.
-
When [RX-TX] is set to [ON] and only the receiver is placed in the charging case, removing the receiver from the charging case turns it on automatically, but the microphone does not turn on. In this case, turn on the microphone manually.
-
The POWER LINK setting takes effect when the receiver and microphone communicate with each other while both are turned on.
-
When [CAM-RX] is set to [ON], the receiver turns on or off a few seconds after you turn the camera on or off. This delay is not a malfunction.
-
When [CAM-RX] is set to [ON] and the receiver is connected to a camera that does not support the digital audio interface, a warning is displayed on the camera for a few seconds when the receiver turns on in sync with the camera's power. This is not a malfunction. Once the receiver has finished starting up, the warning on the camera disappears automatically, and the receiver and camera can be used normally.
-
When [CAM-RX] is set to [ON] and you turn off the camera immediately after turning on the receiver, the receiver may not turn off in sync with the camera. In this case, turn off the receiver manually.
To turn off the receiver in sync with the camera, the receiver needs to be started up before turning off the camera.
-
When [MONITOR SET.] in the headphone menu is set to [CAM HP] and the receiver's audio input jack is connected to the camera's headphone output jack, the receiver does not turn on or off in sync with the camera even if [CAM-RX] under [POWER LINK] is set to [ON]. Turn the receiver on or off manually.
