Using the timecode function

When the timecode function is enabled, the timecode signal is sent to devices such as cameras connected to the receiver. By recording audio or video with a device that receives the timecode signal, timecode information is recorded.

When editing recorded audio or video data, you can accurately synchronize the timing of video and audio by checking the timecode information.

  1. Select [RX] from the receiver's control menu screen.
  2. Select [ON] for [TIMECODE ON/OFF].

    The timecode function is enabled.

  3. Configure the following settings in [TIMECODE SET.] according to the settings and intended use of the devices used to synchronize the timecode.

    • Frame rate

    • Timecode display format

    • Timecode output mode
