Preparation Step 1: Arranging all of the necessary items

To inject the odorants into the sub-cartridges and prepare the cartridge, prepare the following items in advance.

Commercially available items

The necessary items are not limited to those listed below. Arrange the necessary items according to the odorants to be used and carry out the odorant injection work with the appropriate clothing and environment. If anything is unclear, please contact the dealer where the unit was purchased.

  • Odorants to be used (maximum of 40 different types)

  • Torque wrench

    Prepare a torque wrench with an insertion angle of 6.3 mm to 6.35 mm (1/4 inch) that can set a torque of 3.5 N·m.

  • Micropipette and other dispensing burettes

    These are used to inject the odorants. Up to 0.66 mL of odorant can be injected in a sub-cartridge. Use the appropriate product according to the volume and odorant to be injected.

  • Protective glasses

  • Trash bag for tip disposal

    This bag is used for the disposal of used micropipette tips.
