Cannot connect to a network using the WPS button

  • First, connect a computer to the speaker and use the computer to search for the Wi-Fi router (access point scan), and then do the settings for the network.

  • Update the firmware for your Wi-Fi router (access point) to its latest version.

  • Press and hold the speaker's TIMER/ WPS button for about 2 seconds, and confirm that the speaker make a sound*.

  • Check your Wi-Fi router’s operating instructions to see if the way to operate the Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) button for your Wi-Fi router is different.

  • Depending on your Wi-Fi router, you may have to press and hold its Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) button for a few seconds to set it up. For details, refer to the operating instructions for your Wi-Fi router.

  • Bring the Wi-Fi router closer to the speaker.

  • If your wireless router has a Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) button, you can connect to the Wi-Fi network by this method. For details, refer to the operating instructions supplied with your wireless router.

  • If you cannot connect them, even though you did the settings correctly, try the following.

    • Turn off the access point (Wi-Fi router), wait for a while, and then turn it back on.

    • Turn off the speaker, wait for a while, and then turn it back on.
