Menu Operation: Remote Start

You can configure the Remote Start settings.

  1. Press the MENU button.
  2. Select [Setup] - [Remote Start] - [On] or [Off].

    Selecting [On] allows you to turn on the projector from the device such as a computer in a networked environment.

Hint

  • It is necessary to configure the network connection correctly and connect the projector to the network in advance.
  • To turn on the projector using the remote start function, it is necessary to send special commands from a computer. For details, consult with qualified Sony personnel.

Note

  • When [Remote Start] is set to [On], networked standby mode is enabled and power consumption increases. When the Network Management function is set to [On] in the [Setup] menu, Remote Start is automatically fixed at [Off] and it is not displayed in the menu.
