Zooming using the Handle Zoom Lever

Set the zoom servo switch to the SERVO position and adjust the zoom using the handle zoom lever.

You can set the handle zoom lever operation using [Technical] – [Handle Zoom] in the full menu.

  1. Set [Technical] – [Handle Zoom] – [Setting] to [Low], [High], or [Variable] in the full menu to set the handle zoom operation.
  2. Press the handle zoom lever to operate the zoom.
    • When set to [Variable], the zoom speed varies with the pressure applied to the lever.
    • When set to [Low] or [High], the zoom speed is constant, regardless of the pressure applied to the lever. You specify the speed using [Handle Zoom] – [Low] or [High].
    • You can switch the handle zoom operation by assigning [Handle Zoom] to an assignable button and pressing the assignable button to toggle between settings.

Note

  • When the handle zoom operation is set to [Off], the handle zoom lever cannot be used.
  • When the zoom speed is slow, zooming may be uneven.
