Outputting a test tone from each speaker (Test Tone)
You can output a test tone from each speaker in sequence.
- Select [Setup] - [Speaker Settings] from the home menu.
- Select [Manual Speaker Settings].
- Select [Test Tone].
- Select the setting you want.
- Off
- Auto: The test tone is output from each speaker in sequence.
- Front (L), Center 1 (*1), Center 2 (*1), Center (*2), TV Center, Front (R), Front Wide (L) (*3), Front Wide (R) (*3), Surround (L), Surround (R), Surround Back (L), Surround Back (R), Height1 (L), Height1 (R), Height2 (L), Height2 (R), Height3 (L) (*3), Height3 (R) (*3), Top Front (L) (*3), Top Center (*3), Top Front (R) (*3), Top Rear (R) (*3), Top Rear (L) (*3), Bottom Front (L) (*3), Bottom Center (*3), Bottom Front (R) (*3), Subwoofer: You can select which speakers will output the test tone.
*1 for STR-AZ7000ES/STR-AZ5000ES
*2 for STR-AZ3000ES
*3 for STR-AZ7000ES
- Adjust the speaker level.
Hint
- You can set a test tone by pressing the TEST button on the remote control. In this case, you can only use the display panel for the operation.
- To adjust the level of all speakers at the same time, press (volume) +/–. You can also use MASTER VOLUME on the receiver.
- The adjusted value is shown on the TV screen during adjustment.
