Turning on the receiver

Before connecting the AC power cord (mains lead), be sure to make connections with speakers and the other devices.

  1. Connect the supplied AC power cord (mains lead) to the AC IN terminal on the receiver firmly, then connect the AC power cord (mains lead) to a wall outlet.

    * Space remains between the plug and the rear panel even when the power cord (mains lead) is inserted firmly. The cord is supposed to be connected this way. This is not malfunction.

  2. Press (power) to turn on the receiver.

     

    You can also turn on the receiver using MAIN (power) on the remote control. To turn off the receiver, press MAIN (power) again.

Note

  • After you turn off the receiver, [STANDBY] flashes on the display panel. Do not disconnect the AC power cord (mains lead) while [STANDBY] is flashing. This may cause a malfunction.
