Tuning to a station directly

You can enter the frequency of a station directly.

  1. Select [Listen] - [FM] from the home menu.

    The FM screen appears.

  2. Press .
  3. Enter the frequency.
    1. Press / to change the digit on the display panel.
    2. Press to move to the next digit.

      You can move the input position backward and forward by pressing /.

  4. Repeat step 3 until the desired frequency is displayed.

Note

  • If the tuned frequency is invalid or out of range, [---.-- MHz] appears and then the screen returns to the current frequency.
    Make sure you have entered the right frequency. If not, repeat steps 3 and 4. If you still cannot tune to a station, the frequency may not be in use in your area.

Hint

  • The tuning scale for direct tuning is shown below:
    • USA and Canadian models

      100 kHz

    • Other models

      50 kHz
