Image does not appear on the TV screen when the receiver is not turned on.
- Press AMP MENU, then set [<HDMI>] - [CTRL HDMI] to [CTRL ON], and then set [<HDMI>] - [STBY THRU] to [AUTO] or [ON] on the display panel.
- Turn on the receiver, then select the input to which the playing device is connected.
- If connected to other devices than those manufactured by Sony that support the Control for HDMI function, press AMP MENU, then set [<HDMI>] - [CTRL HDMI] to [CTRL ON] on the display panel.
