Cnt Shoot Speed Boost

You can temporarily change the continuous shooting speed during continuous shooting. By quickly changing the continuous shooting speed according to the situation, you can shoot only decisive moments in high-speed continuous shooting and reduce the number of shots in other scenes.

[Cnt Shoot Speed Boost] can only be used when the drive mode is set to [Cont. Shooting].

  1. MENU (Setup) → [Operation Customize][Custom Key/Dial Set.] → Assign [Cnt Sht Spd Bst w/ Hold] or [Cnt Sht Spd Bst Toggle] to the desired key and set the continuous shooting speed when using [Cnt Shoot Speed Boost].
    • You can also set the continuous shooting speed in MENU (Shooting) → [Drive Mode][Cnt Sht Spd Bst Settings].
  2. During continuous shooting, press the key to which you have assigned [Cnt Sht Spd Bst w/ Hold] or [Cnt Sht Spd Bst Toggle], and then shoot the picture.

Hint

  • [Cnt Shoot Speed Boost] can also be used while the shutter button is pressed halfway down or during continuous shooting.
  • If you use [Cnt Shoot Speed Boost] during continuous shooting, the playback group will be divided before and after the continuous shooting speed boost.
  • In [Reg. Custom Shoot Set], you can register [Cnt Shoot Speed Boost] instead of the drive mode. In this case, the continuous shooting speed can be set separately from [Cnt Sht Spd Bst Settings].

Note

  • If you use [Cnt Shoot Speed Boost] during continuous shooting and switch from a low speed to a high speed (60 images per second or more) or from a high speed to a low speed (30 images per second or less), continuous shooting may be interrupted at some point.
