Remotely powering the camera on/off (Wake On LAN)
You can connect the camera to a computer via a wired LAN and turn the camera on/off remotely from the computer.
This function can be used when the camera’s system software (firmware) is Ver.2.00 or later.
In advance, install the remote shooting software Remote Camera Tool on your computer, make sure it is connected to the camera via a wired LAN, and then configure the settings on the camera as follows.
- Set [Wired LAN Connect] to [On]
- MENU →
(Network) → [
Cnct./Remote Sht.] → [Wake On LAN] → desired setting.
