What you can do with the BLUETOOTH® function
The player uses Bluetooth wireless technology.
With Bluetooth wireless technology, you can do the following:
- Listen to music on a Bluetooth device wirelessly.
- Answer and hang up a phone call from a smartphone wirelessly.
- Change the settings on the player using Sony | Headphones Connect (smartphone app).
- Perform playback operations on the player using Sony | Music Center (smartphone app).
Listening to music
You can receive audio signals from Bluetooth devices (*1) to enjoy music wirelessly.
You cannot use other devices to play music on the player via a Bluetooth connection.
*1 Smartphones, mobile phones, or music players, etc.
Answering a phone call / hanging up a phone call
You can answer and hang up a phone call via an active Bluetooth connection.
