Types of logs stored on the aircraft

Two types of logs are stored in the aircraft’s onboard memory.

By default, the “Airpeak Flight” App automatically uploads flight logs and device logs to the cloud. You can also upload them manually at a convenient time depending on the network environment and other circumstances.

Flight log

This type of log records data related to the aircraft’s flights.

You can use the “Airpeak Base” App to view flight logs stored in the cloud.

For information on the upper limit on the number of flight logs that can be stored on the “Airpeak Plus” cloud service, visit the product page.

Device log

This type of log records data needed by Sony Customer Support to diagnose the status of devices such as aircrafts, remote controllers, and other accessories.

All device logs may be necessary to diagnose the status of devices.

Note

  • It is not possible to upload device logs of an aircraft or remote controller that is starting up. If a problem occurs, turn the aircraft or remote controller off and then on again, then upload the device logs.
