Flight logs and RTK positioning data
The data stored in the aircraft’s onboard memory and the SD memory card of the RTK kit (sold separately) is described below.
Data stored in the aircraft’s onboard memory
You can upload data stored in the aircraft’s onboard memory to the cloud using the “Airpeak Flight” App. By default, this data is uploaded to the cloud automatically.
Data uploaded to the cloud from the aircraft’s onboard memory can be managed and used at a location distant from the flight site, such as an office, if an internet connection is available.
Flight log
This type of log records data related to the aircraft’s flights. You can make use of flight logs to create new missions efficiently.
PPK (when using the RTK kit (sold separately))
This is GNSS observation data for post-processing RTK positioning results with PPK (Post Processing Kinematic). By importing it into PPK-compliant software and performing post-processing, it may be possible to calculate the aircraft position and correct the positions of captured still images more accurately. For details, refer to “Importing RTK positioning data into SfM software .”
Geotag (when using the RTK kit (sold separately))
This is mapping data that records camera position and attitude information for each captured still image. It can be imported into SfM software and used to create 3D models from captured still images. For details, refer to “Importing RTK positioning data into SfM software .”
Data stored in the SD memory card of the RTK kit (sold separately)
The same data as PPK and geotags stored in the aircraft's onboard memory is stored on the SD memory card mounted in the interface unit of the RTK kit (sold separately). This data can easily be used even if no internet connection is available, such as for confirmation at the flight site.
PPK (when using the RTK kit (sold separately))
Geotag (when using the RTK kit (sold separately))
Note
- Only turn off the aircraft and remove the SD memory card after confirming that the “Airpeak Flight” App screen does not show a notification that data is being written. Turning off the aircraft and removing the SD memory card while data is being written may result in a partial loss of PPK and geotag data stored on the SD memory card of the RTK kit (sold separately).
