Changing the Transition Time (Pan-Tilt/Zoom) When Restoring a Preset Position

You can change the transition time (pan/tilt operation, zoom operation) when restoring a saved preset position.

  1. Set [Pan-Tilt] – [P/T Preset] – [Pan-Tilt] – [Speed Setting Way] to [Separate] in the web menu.
  2. Press the image for the preset position for which you want to change the transition time.

The (Preset position menu) button appears at the top right of the image.

  3. Press the (Preset position menu) button and select [Edit…] from the displayed menu.

The setup screen for the selected preset position appears.

  4. Select [Pan-Tilt Speed Unit] – [Time] and set the transition times (Pan-Tilt/Zoom) you want to change using the sliders or enter values directly and press the [OK] button.

The next time a saved position is restored the camera will move with the configured time.

Hint

  • When [Pan-Tilt] – [P/T Preset] – [Pan-Tilt] – [Speed Setting Way] is set to [Common] in the web menu, all preset positions will be restored at the speed set using [Pan-Tilt] – [P/T Preset] – [Pan-Tilt] – [Common Speed].
  • After zoom movement is completed, the camera moves to the saved focus position.
  • After the movement is completed, [AF Transition Speed] returns to its original setting.
  • If [Pan-Tilt] – [P/T Preset] – [Zoom] – [Zoom Sync*] is set to [On] in the web menu, zoom also operates with the specified time.
  • When [Pan-Tilt] – [P/T Preset] – [Pan-Tilt] – [Speed Setting Way] is set to [Common] in the web menu, the transition time configured here is not applied.
  • You can set the transition time in 0.5 second increments.
  • When restoring the preset position of a Clear Image Zoom area, the zoom does not operate smoothly (preset position is restored instantaneously).

Note

  • Depending on the ambient temperature, the maximum acceleration and accuracy may differ and the camera may not operate as specified.
  • Depending on the pan/tilt distance and [Pan-Tilt] – [P/T Preset] – [Pan-Tilt] – [Ramp Curve] setting, there may be an error in the specified time.
