Using Image Stabilization

You can enable the image stabilization function when shooting to help reduce image blur caused by small movements.

  1. Set [Shooting] – [Image Stabilization] – [Setting] to [Standard] in the camera menu.
    • [Standard]: Reduce blurring of the image caused by movement, such as vibration.
    • [Off]: Turn image stabilization mode off.

Assign [Image Stabilization] to an assignable button. You can then switch the function between [Standard] and [Off] each time you press the button.

The setting is displayed on the shooting screen.

You can also switch image stabilization between [Standard] and [Off] in the direct menu.

    Hint

    • This function may not be able to compensate for large vibration.
    • The image stabilization effect is reduced during pan/tilt operation.
    • At the end of pan/tilt operation, a noticeable change in the image may occur due to image stabilization.
