Selecting Audio Input Devices on the Unit

You can specify the audio to be recorded using the input connectors and menu of the unit.

  1. Switch the audio input using [Audio] – [CH1 Input Select] / [CH2 Input Select] / [CH3 Input Select] / [CH4 Input Select] in the menu or [Audio] – [Audio Input] – [CH1 Input Select] / [CH2 Input Select] / [CH3 Input Select] / [CH4 Input Select] in the full menu.

    Note

    • Audio is not recorded when shooting with variable frame rate.
    • When [CH1 Input Select] and [CH2 Input Select] are set to [Internal MIC], the audio recording level of both CH1 and CH2 is adjusted using [CH1 Input Level]. When [CH3 Input Select] and [CH4 Input Select] are set to [Internal MIC], the audio recording level of both CH3 and CH4 is adjusted using [CH3 Input Level].
    • To use an XLR handle unit, attach it to the unit and then select one of [Shoe CH1] / [Shoe CH2] / [Shoe CH3] / [Shoe CH4] according to the output setting of the handle unit.
  2. Adjust the audio recording level.
