Focusing using Magnified View
You can select the destination for focus magnification using [Monitoring] – [Focus Magnifier] in the full menu. The function name of an assignable button used for focus magnification changes depending on the setting.
You can switch the focus magnification factor of the LCD monitor/viewfinder by pressing an assignable button assigned with [LCD/VF Focus Mag]. Each time you press this button, the magnification switches between 3× and 6×.
This function is useful for checking the focus.
Once the maximum magnification is applied, pressing the button again returns to the normal screen.
You can move the position to be magnified during focus magnification using the multi selector. Pressing the multi selector returns to the center of the image.
When an assignable button assigned with [HDMI Focus Mag] is pressed for an HDMI output image, the magnification switches between 2× and 4×.
Note
- The image is not magnified if the HDMI output video format is other than FHD.
- The magnified position returns to the center of the screen when the unit is turned off.
- When recording in X-OCN, if you apply focus magnification to the LCD monitor image with [LUT On/Off] set to [Off], an image with LUT applied may appear.
